Laverda 750 contact points setting

Guys i need some help  i?m trying to set contact points on my 750 sfc replica and i have some problems i set them without any problem on my 750 but there is something different between bikes .

In what position must be engine when setting contact points to 0.4 mm.? I know that igniton is at TDC

You set the points gap when the points cam has opened the points the most it can.

Bad luck, Luka. Have a go at straightening after removing the cam mechanism, using a dial gauge on the shaft and a tube over the top of the shaft for bending. Should be possible to get it to a workable runout.

I change it for spare one and i will straighten this one but first i need to buy holder for dial gauge
