Laverda 750 sf2 battery

The "must have" is not the same as fitted by the factory, I cant tell you off hand what the original size is, but |I can tell you that on my 750 Egli I always used a tiny battery,  evreyone said would be useless, it came from a Honda 400/4 and was about one sixth of the size and weight, it still started the bike OK and never gave me a single problem.,so you can go a lot smaller with no ill effects.
CLEM

I have always found that 18AH is sufficient with a good quality battery. Currently using an 18amp Belgian AGM battery, plenty of grunt, less than half the size of the original, fits through the frame rails. Pretty sure original was a 24AH lead acid monster you had to remove the airbox and a carburettor to get in and out. In my opinion a smaller battery like Clems is risky, not much in reserve if it doesn?t fire straight up.
Check your 40 y.o. cables and connectors at the same time. Charging system good?

I wanted to buy 12V 14Ah battery  with starter power 190A will it bi ok ???  I know that original one had 24Ah

I often use cheap 16 amp batteries on my SF2. They last years. Never charge them even though the bike usualy isn't used over 4 winter months.
Ciao
