Lost indicators

So I'm out and about and I notice that as I turn into the servo that I have no indicators. All other lights functioning fine.

Fuse is good. So either relay or switch right? Will check bulbs but all four at once blowing?

Can't be arsed to take the tank off out here so will take switch apart and check.

Anything else I could check?

Quicker to check if you have volts rather than stripping a switch...latter is unlikely to be culprit unless the centre (supply) wire has broken.  Flasher relay is easy place to check and avoids risk of you losing small screws and brackets.

Fixed , loose relay wire.

Bugger, that was the perfect opportunity for you to take those ugly things off. I hate indicators, if I didn't have to have them for a roadworthy, I wouldn't have the at all. They'll be gone soon though.

Did you ever have the wiring gone over by your man yet?

Not the comprehensive one look over I'd hoped for. I've got a harness on order but I'm eyeing those relays as the only real point where the wiring deviates from the standard setup and should be able to replace them easy enough.

you don't need indicators for your bike Chris, is pre 1978, not required until after 78 in QLD

Then off they come ............... do you reckon Mobile Malcolm agrees?

Don't know about Malcolm but Brian will have no issues as long as we say it is a 1975 or so

Just need someone to pin him down, golden panda in the man for the job

:o Whoa, (Golden Panda) Joey is a big boy, my back will be to the wall at the NBSFOS, and I'll up the weights at the gym until then.
:( Riding home after a night of Joey having his way with me is not all that appealing  :'( ....... rear shocks would need to be at their softest settings!
