Hi All, As I've now acquired a lovely pair of four pot brembos I'm now in the market for a new master cylinder and as I'm changing to hydraulic clutch as well I'm thinking of buying brembo goldine ones for a duck 748. are these compatible, I'm guessing the brake one will be as the calipers came from a 748. Want to make sure before i buy as its a fair bit of cash.
Cheers muchly,
  Mark

I used Honda Firestorm brake and clutch m/c.  Work well and are cheap.

PSC 16 for the brake side and PSC 13 for the clutch with a 31 or 34mm slave piston. on the 34mm it hardly separates the clutch, but on the 31mm it works quite well.

I fitted 4 pots to my 83 jota and fitted matching clutch & brake master cylinders and I used A.P Lockheed ajustable ratio ones.  They look great on the bike and work very well indeed.

Hi Mark, Could you tell me the model numbers for each of the mastercylinders. Cheers. Mark

Mark, the one Bob is referring to [I think] will be the ACP3125-2, the '2' at the end of the number means twin disc. They cost about ?190 plus vat from Andover Norton and will give the equivalent range of  a 16mm to a 19mm master cylinder. A Firestorm one as recommended by Reggie probably makes more sense but the Lockheed one is interesting because it's adjustable and in theory you can optimse the modulation and feel of the brake. I've just bought one of the Lockheed units which is why I'm up to speed with them.

PS will the real Mark or Bob please stand up, this is getting confusing :D :D

Hi bob. My bike makes no sense at all apart from to me. For the money I've spent so far I could have bought a reasonable runner. Thanks for the info. Cheers
