Montjuich battery

  Need to get a new battery for the Monty  the normal lead acid ones seem to be only a tenner less than a "Motobatt" one. So - is the "Motobatt" type OK for use with single phase charging.? - Regards - Phil

Hi Phil,
Had a Mottobatt battery on Kermit for something like 4 years and used them on my Binnion Framed racer for years without problems.

I've got about 4 Motobatts.  Aside from 1 which was DOA and got replaced, they're all working well, some about 4-5 years old now.  FWIW, the only Deka I've had died in < 2 years.  I've had 4-5 Odysseys over the years and they have all lasted at least 8-12 years (!!) but they are now extremely expensive and the more recent ones may or may not be as durable as the earlier ones.  So I've changed to using Motobatt and am very happy with them.

Deka still going like a new one in my LeMons. Prefer the SSB LiPo that I have in the triple though - around the same price and 1/10th the weight.
