looks like a really nice honest bike with good service and maintenance done.

the photo of the side profile kind of jarred my eye, trying to figure out what looked odd, then I realized the pod air filters must be jacking up the rear of the tank, disturbing the lines of the bike. Seller says in his ad he has an airbox coming from Wolfgang, though.

After what seems like a drought there's a swag of them now. With the A$ where it is this one and the RGS both look attractive as imports back to OZ.

Hi Shamrock

Without wanting to get into a debate about exactly what a Jota is (opinions differ), I'd say no. The seller describes it as a 1200 Jota, but doesn't say anything about the engine specs. If it had HC pistons and 4C cams, he'd probably highlight it as a selling point.

Cheers,
Cam

PS: Do you really have 18 Honda 750's?  :o

Hey Cam,  I've been looking for a triple in the states for some time now.  I followed the Bitsa 1200 Jota in California last month and I recall the sidecovers having Jota emblems.  If I don't find a triple soon I may grab a chainsaw and cut one of the cylinders from a CB750 and paint the bodywork orange.  :)  I have 29 bikes and a good wife.

:D :DThat would be yours truly that hit the Buy-it-Now. God knows I don't need it since I already have too many Lavs, one being a 1200 Jota America 3 numbers away from this one! I saw that he dropped the BIN price and my resistance melted. You will be hearing more about it once I get it home.

Scott, surely you must know the bike as it is a Texas bike. Ebay bikes are rarely as good as they look in the pics. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Now that's just plain selfish, I was going to do the same thing but you beat me!

Congratulations, George!!

Hope it is as good as it looks in the photos and sounds in the description, it really looks like a nice well maintained mostly original example!

Phil,
It was a genuine barn find down in Cornwall, cost me ?40. At the time I was very young and optimistic, I intended to rebuild what was left of it. Safe to say it never happened and was eventually sold on to somebody who hopefully made some use of it. I believe it was an M20, that was about 25 years ago -so long gone now.
