oil pump gear wheel

Hi forum

I am trying to get my oil pump gear wheel of my 180 * triple have taken the circlip and washer of the shaft but the gear wheel is completely
stuck maybe the peg is bend ? any suggestion ?

They can sometimes take a bit of pulling, I use two flat tyre levers to gently ease the gear off. Be patient and don't go mad and cause collateral dammage the gear will walk off the shaft with a little persuasion.

you need a couple of small pry bars to get in behind and gently pry it off
is not uncommon for them to become difficult to remove

if you don't have the pry bars you can make a pair from old screwdrivers easy enough

solved the problem-
made a small puller and found that the peg was very thight in the wheel,
the gears inside the pump is 9 mm. wide 1978 -1200,?? no need to change to 10 I guess ?
I am thinking of dumping the oil cooler and fit a oil filter insted or should I have both ?
