Oil Temperature Gauge

Found list of RR thread and dipstick lengths, only 1 is 18X1.5 but not long enough.

you can request almost any length if I remember right/they still do that. I know that my brother ordered several in the 90's from them and always told them what he needs as a minimum length and they made them up for him.
 
You can buy mine if you want - UK so postage will be reasonable!  Transparent dial cover has some sort of lacquer-like residue on it, but is readable.

yeah - they all look that way (or worse...) after some time, it is from gas that sometimes drops down when you remove the tank or work on the carbs... Mine on the Jota looks way worse, still works though.
