Paddock stand

I have some work to do on my centre stand. I therefore need to raise the bike using a rear paddock stand.

The one I bought uses the swing arm, however as you probably know the swin arm is quite high, so the stand doesnt get it up. (insert joke).

What is everyone using?

This is roughly what I have. Was thinking of adding some additional chocks to get it higher.

I have one with extendable arms that you can adjust to the right hight. comes from Louis, a local bike accessory chain.

It's similar to this one:

Front/rear combo stand from these guys looks as though it might be height adjustable http://www.thirdgear.com.au/categories/Stands/

Only takes a couple of minutes to take the pipes off, then you can use the stand.

This one looks best. Doubles up as front stand.
Wish I had known.

got an Abba Superbike stand, http://www.abbastands.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=1, which I'm very happy with. Didn't pay 90 odd quid for it mind, it was a fleabay bargain...

I've also got a Hein Gericke paddock stand that was chosen because it does the width adjustment at the pivot not the swingarm end, which means that it doesn't foul the silencers.

Before that I had an oxford paddock stand but that fouled the pipes on the SFC, the Bonnie & the MV so I got rid of it

Hi Eddie - I don't like using the under swinger type on a round type swinger - always scared of bike slipping off. I modified the old style of paddock stand for my SF and  made some bobbins (actually out of Titanium) - but a longer bolt (allen type best ) - with a grooved sleeve over it works fine. I modified a type like you showed to fit some adaptors on the orange SF - Regards - Phil

Looks to be the same as the one Third Gear in Oz are selling, except more expensive.
