hi out there
I think i got a small challenge here during the re-wirng of my '79 3CL with MotoGadget M-unit BT. Here in Denmark it is a requirement to be able to turn on parking light - how is this intended to be implemented? On my ignition key switch there is a black/brown which - as far as i remember - is used for this and is active when i turn the key in postion "2" - ignition and everythin else off and parking light on - I might have missed something when studing the options for this on the MotoGadget but i cannot see how i can implement this trough the M-Unit - how has this been implemented? Just bypassing the M-Unit and passing the wire to the parking light?

Hi, it depends on what you prefer. If you want to keep it simple connect the parking light to AUX 1 or 2 if they are always ON they you switch on the ignition key. The unit barely uses any power.
Only question is, when you switch the unit on, does the headlight turn on or do you switch it manually on?
Other option is a bypass. Wire will be shorter but then you want you use a fuse, finally its gonna be more messy. Thats not the reason why you bought a M-unit.

hi Herman
No - i just forgot that the M-unit did support a build-in way to activate parking light which i will try to activate and see if this works for me
