That's a standard 'race pattern', Rob. Quite common. I run mine like that 100% of the time, road or track.

Well there you go,wouldnt work for me, i could technically grasp it but i can just picture missing my downchanges and flying into a corner without engine braking, no thanks ...
After rod adjustment on Saturday, i had no more missed gears, new boots too..

Good stuff, Rob. Always go with what works for you - glad it's all doing what it's supposed to do. Gotta say, my boots aren't as 'dexterous' as i'd like them - feel like the arches are too high so my foot feels too elevated. Don't fancy taking to them with the angle grinder!!

The same aerodynamic principle that glues vehicles to the ground seems to be the same one that allows them to take off once the right conditions have been met.

I’m thinking modern sports bikes wings, all good until the front end lifts way too much and it does a backwards flip, the type of flip American submarine builders would be proud of

Either-way, bike and subs both end up second hand….
