Rack for 78 Jota

That's one of the ones we had made by Willridge fabrications - Old but excellent - well as excellent as a carrier can look on a Laverda - Regards - Phil

Or you can make one like this using just a few simple hand tools and two welds. Flat steel bar easy to bend and drill and strong like bull. Does not interfere with the passenger, supports saddle bags, does not bend or wobble I have had one on my 78 for years, you can remove or fit it in 10 minutes, Cheers Dave

Wow. That's even uglier than my rack.  :D

Sheesh thats a big call Cam. I do think some weld rather than the bolts would have been OK though....still home made anythings are great.

Hey Dave, my orange 3C didn't come with one of these 'accessories'.
Were they standard fitment?
I wonder if I should go for NOS or modern replacement...  8) 8) 8)

So it supports the weight through the tailpiece?
Hopefully that is braced directly to the tail light bracket, but that would render the tailpiece space useless and still have the possibility of stress cracking the tailpiece plastic.

Interesting looking bike though.

Looks like a useless piece of bling to me. I wouldn't want to carry anything heavier than a pizza on that, and not even a family sized pizza.

I hope it's not the pride and joy of someone on this forum. If so, I think it looks really nice, especially the way the sun glints off the chrome. Lovely polishing job...

Cheers,
Cam
