can anyone tell me please what size rawl bolt I need to knock out my wheel bearings M?

Ta LJ

Errr, the size of your spindle.
Best if it is a close fit already, then tighten it up and bash it out from the other side.

Looking at the screwfix catalogue do just wanted the size, theres a lot there.I think its 16mm

LJ, you might want to think about judicious application of heat to the wheel hub too. I sit my wheel on a propane camp stove and let it heat up with a low flame for at least 10 minutes. The bearings are generally a lot easier to remove then, I didn't even need to use a backyard bearing puller.
And then you can also make the new ones a lot easier to install with putting the bearing in the freezer (in a plastic bag to keep it dry). If you have access to dry ice a slurry of dry ice and acetone stays liquid and really cools it down, makes it very easy to tap in although it heats up quickly.
Liquid nitrogen is even better, but most of us can't get it. I once used to be able to get liquid helium, 4 Kelvins, that made bearings easy to drop in :P :P

a 10mm ralwbolt goes into a 16mm drilled hole,10mm is the thread size of the bolt and 17mm the spanner size of the nut and I very much doudt that you will get "a Rawlbolt" at the bucket DIY shops the last time I bought any they only sold cheapo plated exanding bolts that are crap, I can post you the genuine thing, if you admit that my TS is way better than yours.
