RGS Corsa Battery

Have you fit either of these batteries into an RGS / Corsa?

no, I use the EXT16L, find it plenty big enough to crank over any triple engine
one of those batteries used to crank my 1175cc 10.8:1 Jota over no problems at all, you will find it is plenty of power for the Corsa

I have changed from Deka to the Lithium batteries these days mainly because of weight but damn, those little suckers punch out some power

FNQ you are a man after my own heart.
I would love a LM 1 if the wife will let me
There is one on Flea Bay now in the states for 9ish but the guy wants 12 I'd jump on one for 10ish if I could find one

A genuine Le Mans 1 for 10thou - dreaming - unless it is in little bits in boxes or should be.

Get a SSB LiPo battery also from batterymart. They weigh nothing and throw out more CCA than a Deka that weighs 8kg more.

One of my mates sold his last year for 16 thou. It was immaculate and 16 was probably about 5 less than it should have got but he was happy as it went to a goose loving mate. If the one in the US is anywhere near as good 12 + shipping would still be cheap.

Guys,

The Corsa is up and running! It has a Deka eXT16 Batto and Castrol active 20W50 oil. It will need new tyres as the back one has cracking on the wall.

Thanks to Peder Heise in Denmark for selling me the bike. It was "as described" and Peder is a very good bloke / straight shooter to deal with. He has a SFC1000 for sale and I can recommend that you can buy with confidence from Peder.

Thanks to Ian linsay and Mark (Laverda Bultaco) for helping me get the bike recommissioned, could not have done it with out you guys.

Wooohoooo!

On my RGS Corsa I run the following:

Odyssey 680 Gel battery (less weight and lower C of G than standard batts. No spill stains on bodywork either)
Michelin Pilot Active Tyres (run with inner tubes also - who gives a damn about unsprung weight when I weigh 90+ kgs)
Morris 20/50 Classic motor oil (not much point in paying over the odds when this oil does what it says on the lid)

I find the combination works well, especially when toodling around the Isle of Man TT course at 100 MPH or so and revving up to 8,000 on many occasions. See relevant Youtube vids posted on this forum or just search 'following the Laverda V6 Parts 1 through 8' on Youtube.
Go go.
Cheers
DoC!

Guys,

It was good to meet some of the Sydney crew on the weekend for my first run on the Corsa.

As some of you may have noticed the rear tyre is past it.

Does anyone know where a good / cheap place is in Sydney for a pair of Battlaxe BT45s

I'm in the North.

I get my tyres from Northside at Artarmon on the Pacific Hwy,odds are you will have to order them first.
There pretty good for tyres except for swopping my steel valve caps for rubber ones, got to watch that
