Now as to the centre stand stop theres a very neat little bracket bolted to the frame with a rubber stopper in the end.

Yeh, neat.  Think I'm getting the idea now ...

Hey Drikko

No need to tear your hair out with the half-rings. Just wrap a bit of masking tape around them to hold them in place. Use the paper masking tape and it'll burn off pretty quickly without leaving a messy residue.

Makes easy work of an otherwise frustrating job.
