We took the tank off my RGS to rebuild the carbs, and in the process misplaced the workshop manual. Now we want to put the tank back on and there are three metal strips about 1/2" wide and 1.5" long that we don't recall where to put or what they're for. Can anyone help?

Um three ?? do they have at one end a little bend and twist in them and the other end a hole.. if so the they are ( 2 of them anyway ) go under the fairing to tank bolts to hold the back of the inner fairing in place. If you look at the side on of the tank the top one of the two holes it goes under that one.
