Series 1 Primary Cover?

There is currently a primary cover for sale on German Ebay, but I don't recall seeing one like it before.
Is this a genuine Laverda cover?
The covers I'm familiar with either have "1000" on the bulge, or have no marking on the bulge.

Very early 1200 cover.
Had one on my '78 1200.
They just machined off the '1000' logo until they had the cover re-cast so it became generic for both 1000 and 1200.

I have the same on my '78 3CL, but engine is older than frame (non matching numbers).
Have wondered the same thing.

Belongs to the "special" bits the factory conjured up for the 1200s.  Later altered in order to fit to both 1000 and 1200 models, probably to cut costs...
