SF1 vent routing

It's actually smaller diameter than the larger SF2/3 hoses. You can also find alternative smaller OD hose that might make it easier to fit. I used to run mine to the right (facing fwd) of the regulator, tucked into that space and then down over the top of the airbox and down so any vented oil went onto the chain just behind the gearbox sprocket. Hope this helps.

I do the same, the end of the breather tube fits nicely between swingarm spindle and cross brace if your swingarm is so equipped.

Champher the hose and make sure you do not dump the hose directly in front of the rear tire - Set it to exhaust to a side ;o)

You might consider exhausting crank case pressure over the chain for lubricant.

My 70 SF0 with open mouth 32 VHB's did not have an Air Box - She was open mouth carb and the crank case PCV relief came out of the head with a 1/2" stutter ball to a 1/2" hose.

Can't say a 71SF had an Air Box. Air Box's from mid 72 to 74's 750's with bigger carbs - Yes!

In my opinion, you are not describing a 750 SF1. If you give us the serial# range may be we can categorize it better.
