Hello forum, I am building up the rear wheel of the SF2, and with the bike came a bag of bits marked rear wheel, in this bag is a alloy washer, does anyone know if this is a part of the rear wheel/ brake. Also I only have 1 spring for the brake linings, I know I need another one, is there only 2 or is there 2 large and 2 small springs as noted in a parts book ???

No alloy washer used anywhere in the rear brake as far as I'm aware.

Stock fitment was 2 small springs only, holding the shoes to the brake plate.  The return spring is external in the cast-in tube between the 2 levers.  US regulations specified additional springs to be fitted between the shoes, shown in the later parts books.

Been a long time but when I converted from right rear brake to left and did away with the hugely long over the guard brake cable to a very direct left foot connection the brake became VERY powerful and easy to lock. The local shop,Eades added stronger springs to make the effort to brake harder and reduce the ease to lock it.That helped a lot
