SFC 1000 parts needed - oil filter body - engine breather 300mm discs and DMC1 ignition pick ups wanted

For my SFC 1000 rebuild I am after the complete oil filter, engine breather and witt ignition pick ups. I am also looking for the 300mm floating discs. I have the carriers and cotton reels so could buy the discs or complete including the mounts.

What do you mean by "Witt ignition pick-ups"?

Which exact ignition system do you have? DMC I, DMC II or DMC 32?

I have the optical pick up for the DMC II (bronze coloured box) in stock. The earlier silver or blue DMC I uses the original Bosch pick-ups as installed ex-factory. Reckon I should have a used set of those as well.

Are the pick-ups missing or are you suspecting they're not working? Have you confirmed the box is still intact?

The pick-up coils rarely break down but it is quite common to find the wiring insulation has crumbled within the sheathing and causing short circuits, the wiring can be replaced. Most used pick-ups suffer the same symptoms after almost 40 years. While the DMC I is also pretty robust, it can be fried by excessive voltage caused by a defective regulator or using incorrect coils. Should be checked before investing any effort or cash.
