my new RR has 2 yellow, 1 black, 1 green, and 1 red/white wire.

just to confirm

2 yellow = connection to generator
1 black = connection to earth
1 red/white = connection to +ve terminal on battery via fuse
1 green = connection to switched +ve (ie ignition switch) for voltage sense

cheers, Tim

:o :o Wow, that beats my Breville Snackmaker.

1 Brown
1 Blue
1 Green

just to confirm

1 Brown = neutral
1 Blue = Active
1 Green = Earth

Makes me wish I bought the RR version, bet your cooks faster than mine too!

I tried googling it but it didn't find anything that made sense. What are you putting it into?

Check the specs for the RR. The Shindengen SH525 is a rare animal. I think the reason it's rare is because it's a 6V regulator.

You'll need a 12V RR like the SH530 or pretty much any other RR except the SH525.

Cheers,
Cam

it does make a lovely panini, much better than my George Forman grill.

Actually, it's a 12V model that Wolfgang sent..  I'll just double check w/ him.

not with this model, which suits the upgrade I made to the charging coils.  I now only have two wires coming from the alternator.
