Source for Nippon Denso Instrument Lights

When I rebuilt my Laverda 750 SF Nippon Denso gauges the lights were very difficult to remove and the rubber was all hard and brittle.

I bought a set of these 4 bulb Honda CB750 instrument lights, the rubber plugs are a wee bit small but the plugs will push down into the gauge openings and I think the plugs will stay put, if in doubt a few drops of silicone will hold them forever. the quality is good and the price is right. $28.00 US + shipping from Canada.

PS. I bought the gauge faces and bezels from CB 750 Faces. $142.95 US, for both gauges, faces, jewels, bezels, glass and crimp rings.

I bought some of the 750 ones from the Kwacka guy in the U.S too and yep they are a wee bit small but I used some heat shrink around them and that snugged them up a treat.  Also the loom colours are different and the end connectors too ..but well nothing a good crimp tool couldn't sort..........

I did find some chinese globe holders which kind of sort of fitted but well quality not the best and they took a different globe so havent bothered with them.. but well should get back onto that project... hmmm good luck if you come up with something please keep us posted.

Comparison to the original and replacement rubber sockets I found

I dabbed some black silicone onto the fresh rubber and then pressed the bung into the housing, should be OK, too bad the new ones are not a bit larger.
