STANDARD LENGTH 3C SHOCKS?

We are needing shocks for the 3C build, and NOT wanting anything over length (rendering the centre stand useless!)
Anyone here ever had Race Tech (USA) Custom build them a pair for a 3C? We are dealers for them, and do a fair amount of Gold Valve fork rebuilds -- but, just as any serious shock builders - they want dimensions we don't have - as the bike is down to every last nut & bolt. They have a 6 to 8 week 'lead time' - and if we have to get the bike back together to measure it -- that will put us way behind. If nobody has the details they need (for a 75 3C) - we are open to (sensible  ;)) suggestions on any sort of shocks that will work well. Rider is 235lbs (with gear on) Shocks that came off are 14-3/16" (360.36mm) eye centres, with 12mm eyes.
We are putting Gold Valves/springs etc in the forks, which does 'tighten up' the front end a lot - so something more upmarket than a pair of NOS shocks would be preferable. It's NOT going to be a 'period' restoration - so, don't have to be stock.
We'd like to think of any upgrades being 'resto mods' - that can be replaced with period parts at a later date, if needed.
Thanks in advance, Brid.

one of our customers has a set of piggy back Racetech rear shocks on his 81 Jota that were custom made by them
eye to eye for the 81 model is 365mm but with your frame stand combo 360mm would work better

Red - I think the only difference between the Jota and the 3C is the top damper mount, from swing arm pivot distance?
Any chance your customer has the figures he sent Race Tech - and wouldn't mind sharing?

Racetech shocks were arranged through Trooper Lui's Garage or whatever their name is and Dave would not have the specs
I'll ask him though as he may have been provided with the specification sheet
I do know they cost him well over $2,000

One of the Sydney blokes has a Race Tech set of shocks on his 81 Cico, there is a bridge we ride over with brick like expension joints and he tells me he cannot feel them and thats a great indication as to how they work. He should be around at some point.BTW what setting are you going to use on the forks? The owner is my weight so this could get interesting.
