TEK Coil wire ferrule

I just received a TEK KP02 coil for my Jota. It's off a Kawasaki and the rubber ferrules on the spark plug wires seem to have been originally installed with some kind of glue or sealant. I was able to get one of the ferrules off but the other is staying put. When the first finally worked off I could see and had to cut a section that was bonded to the spark plug wire. The second one looks like it will be destroyed before it separates from the wire. So, my question is... What can I use to replace these ferrules and properly hold the wire in the coil?
