triple long barrel/head stud installed height

can someone tell me what the correct installed height is for the long barrel/head studs? From crankcase surface to top of stud.

Thanks

Can't state the exact length, but the longer of the 2 threads goes into the case, the stud should tighten up as the end of the thread comes flush to the case surface.  If the stud hasn't been tampered with, all should be OK.

Just to add, try and find this dimension. I had a few years of grief with pulled case studs till we found the cause. The studs looked fine, short threaded section at the top, the problem was at some point a couple of studs where fitted upside down, then the DPO in the end couldn't fit the rocker box and then cut the stud top off to BODGE the fit. So then it by eye looked fine, except it had the original short thread in the case and an even shorter thread up top looking standard but overall length was shorter. Its a huge fuck up thats hard to pick with less thread in the case,= pulled stud. Back then the toque used on the head was higher then needed as well adding to this nightmare.

My recollection is that it helps to know if the cases have been time erred, because the studs don't bottom out, and you need to know the correct length to be left at the top...if you know what I mean!

Yes these cases have just been time-serted. One stud seems a bit lower than the others. I can always check once head and barrels are on.
