tyres i know again

Will need to change rear tyre soon has a Conti Go at present but due to a fair amount of motorway miles,fairly unavoidable with shows like Stafford from my location looking at BT45s,as it has the harder compound in the middle,question is these came out in 97 Avon Roadriders in 2005 which is the better wearing, as well as handling ,rather buy British believe they are cheaper too ,the Contis build up a ridge which is what i don t want.

What's on the front?
I always use a matched pair, too many harum scarum moments in my yoof...
 
Its a good Conti go at present with lots of wear left unfort.

then go for another conti ,or change the pair

PS  Ive got bt45 on my rgs and gs750 and find them good and sure footed
 
Thanks Neale looks like a new pair if i m to change else i ll be on Contis forever,handling is good until the ridge builds up.
 
Thanks Clem re track day its for next year but as already stated the 105DB is a problem as Rob found out ,the pole is to see the demand.As a second string Mallory isn t a problem so all who want to can register early in the year ie Jan around ?90 plus tw tickets,seem more relaxed about the DB level for FOTB.I see no reason why this could be a good turnout of Lavs on the track,if each owner applies,all be it a lottery on tickets and with other bikes,but hey its a great event and offers the camping/caravan/van beer tent music and fireworks!
