It is a small world after all. In California, it is next to impossible to find dinosaur-based oils suitable for use in our Laverdas. Synthetics and synthetic blends are no problem. In the past couple of weeks, Valvoline VR1 20W 50 has become available for sale on both Amazon and eBay at a very good price.
Amazon sellers are restricted from selling and shipping it to California. eBay sellers (the last bastion of free trade sites within the USA) can and do ship it to you anywhere in the USA. Yes, at the risk of breaking multiple interstate trading restrictions, ain't life grand.
