Using a CO analyzer to set idle mixture

Hello all,

Does anyone out there have any experience with using a CO analyzer to set Dellortos on a triple?
On my early 90s Triumphs (Mikuni flatslides), spec is 2.5% - 4.5% CO at idle.
Any thoughts?
