Valve Shimming

Hi Everyone

Can anyone recommend someone to re-shim the exhaust valves on my Alpino, ideally based in/near the UK Midlands

Also is there any specific brand or type of engine oil which would be best for use in this type of engine?

In the midlands Roger Winterburn at Windy Corner in Leics is a good bet. Roger's very meticulous and had had a great deal of experience racing and maintaining 500s. If Roger does it, it'll be done properly.
I use Rock TRM in my Atlas and the Barcelona race bike, I'm very impressed with it.

Will ring Roger and see if he can help.

Baines Racing used to put great store in  Rock Oil TRM for their air cooled Ducatis back in the day. Will give it a try in the 500
