Valves 1200 TS

I am checking to see if anyone has sourced a 36.5mm exhaust valve for this bike.
I got some valves and guides and when lapping the new exhaust valve I see the sealing edge is right up to the margin. I believe this is because the new valve is 35mm.

Lapping shows your hitting the margin - Right?

Sunken, worn and over heated exhaust valves !

Only fix, in order to keep the valve's respective high, is to use a larger dia valve and retool the seat.
Larger valve from Manley and know your machinist ;o)

Valve seat inserts will work - Personally don't trust inserts.

Time to buy a lighter and smaller dia sodium shaft exhaust valve with a larger head, replace the guides and shape the valve seats on the heads to specs - Do a little porting while your at it ;o)
