Hello Everyone.
I saw this in a recent post "What Pirahna said, and it will be tough to see since the frame has been powder coated. These numbers are fill painted white from the factory. Look closely with a flashlight."

Can someone explain how Fill painting is done? Can this be done with powder-coating?
I have a frame at Framecrafters and if possible I would like to have this done.
thank you
Larry

Larry-
Paint in stamping w/ enamel & wipe off excess using a small amount of thinner on a lint-free cloth or you can use something like this: http://www.markal.com/lacquer-stik/

On the wiping part, A body shop friend showed me how to get consistent results using paper towel instead of a rag. It seems rags retain too much of the thinner and the fluff drags the paint out of the groove the paint is in. Paper gives a cleaner wipe. Just don't use the fluffy, super absorbent type towels.
