Hello forum,
As it stands, the torch of NALOC leadership has fallen into my lap, and I do enjoy the fact that I was the last to put my finger to my nose and now stand proud of the rest as someone motivated enough to enable the resurgence of the club.

We have sufficient internet presence, we have the faithful here on the forum, and we live in the shadow of ILOC which have recently added to their rally and fellowship accomplishments. Yep, they got a feature on UK TV. Kudos to their ability to find that in, take advantage and make it happen.

So my ask to you is simple. What are you looking for? Is it tshirts, stickers and patches? Is it videos of our bikes and local rides? Tool and tech sharing via garage nights? Do you want a news letter or La Vera Vista magazine or blog?

Let me know what you think, North America, and I will get started. I am full of enthusiasm for this brand but need your help making a movement come to life.

Let's do this,
Bob

Such a large continent makes a national rally difficult in the short term. Perhaps the merchandising will work ....... no end of ideas for that field.

How about a separate forum or blog to share our adventures. With that we could work our way up to marketing the brand by promoting us at vintage meets etc.

I'm in!

Europe is pretty large too.
From Spain to Breganze is 1850km and from Scotland to Breganze is 2300km.

But maybe it's time too?
Other countries tend to have more vacation days per year than the US.
When I worked for a US company I found in Europe we had around 4 times as many days off as our American colleagues.

Now you know what it feels like when I try to organise calendars...

I would not go for a separate forum / similar. I think we will just lose momentum by fragmenting. Too small a community as it is.

Keep it here, you can have a special spot just for you fellas to go to.
We might pop in every now and then, just to have a look, spy, take the piss and generally annoy you all.

Is this not sorted out yet?
Make executive decisions as it's the only way to get things done sometimes.
I involve folk when sorting out the calendars and it is hard work. If I was to just produce a calendar on my own it would be a doddle.

Hi.  I am new here.  Live outside Baltimore and own an 84 RGS1000.  And an 82 Guzzi 850 LeMans.  (Plus some British bikes.  Some Japanese bikes.  Some East German bikes.)

The Guzzi folks have lots of rallies. One every year in West Virginia, and one closer to DC, usually in September.  Perhaps you could combine a Laverda rally with a local Guzzi rally.  A "Sub-rally," so to speak.

As a former Guzzi owner I have been to a few Guzzi Rallies in the US many years ago. While they were fun and well organized I found the typical Guzzi owner  was either a farmer or hippie.  Not sure they would mesh with  the typical  Laverda owners who are mostly reprobates.  And as a former Ducati bevel owner hanging with Guzziests is  much better than hanging with Ducati snobs. Any opportunity for synergies makes sense. The challenge of distance remains but anything that works is better than nothing.  Well nothing is probably better than holding a virtual rally on Facebook.

Hey ........ I vote Henry for Vice-President.

I voted other as I want them all ........ and I would like some swag that has obvious NALOC branding but it would be nice to have some that isn't so obvious.

Also ...... for T-shirts I like the cool stuff on the back and the NALOC logo front and basic. The twin or triple motor on the back and so on.

That last T-shirt would look good on a 38B cup, but not on my 44A
I am part of a Guzzi club in Michigan. We also combine a AMCA event with our rally. Which by the way is next weekend 17-19th Aug in Traverse City area. I will take my 1200TS there and have my first local Laverda event in NW Lower Michigan Laverdas Owners Club.

I've got two samples that came out poorly executed, and one other is on the way. Another friend of mine is also working on a vendor who may be able to give us a discount on low runs. I'll have some updated artwork to share as well. I found a great patch/embroidery shop that does an amazing job. I hope to get samples from them as well.
