I'm not the brightest button in the box, when folk want their piano rebuilt they come to me..when I want my bike
re-wired I find an expert...I'd love to have the time...nd if I did I'd rather be riding..some chappie/firm with a loooong italian
name offered to re-wire her for me for about 3k...lol...just keep charging the battery...£800...s'done properly and I have some
confidence' in a bit of uk workmanship. After 38 years of being together and getting to know most if not all of our uk specialist mech's and suppliers my confidence levels were/still are, at 0. This job was done only two years ago and nothings caught fire yet... and I can, if I choose,
ride her with the lights on....unheard of...lol..fed up about the wheel wobble tho. Tisn't much, can ride thru it no prob...just a ding the size of a peanut. At least with the help of a proper wheel balancer mate, we spotted it.....it is very very tiny...and only wobbles at 40mph with hands off the bars and disappears at around 42
Mine was rgstrd 1974. spoke wheels, twin discs..bought her in 1993 and I thought..don't know why...she was a 3cl...anyway...she's crackin on a bit..lol.
What does the 'l' stand for in 3cl ?
