Triple speedometer drive spindle/gear.

Does anyone have a Laverda triple speedometer drive spindle/gear as mine is worn where the square section drive cable enters?

Best replaced by new, with a new ring gear, judging by the tooth wear on your old spindle.
As a temporary fix, you could probably pack the square hole to give a better grip on the cable.
