Sha Jota I take your comment in your second post about "single donga type rooms" to mean a room for 'fast sleepers' am I correct on this term, just wondering about that OZ lingo is been a while for me.
Hi Dave. We use the term "Donga" for a basic modular style accommodation unit often used for mining accommodation that can usually be moved from site to site. You also sometimes see them in places like Caravan parks used as cabins etc.
Usually just a rectangular box which can fit on the back of a truck (probably explains it best)
I used the term loosely here as the rooms in this case were attached to form a larger structure (not single units) but inside was very much like a "donga", small basic room, although including own shower / toilet. I have attached a pic of the outside of the "single" rooms at Theodore, hope that makes sense.....
