Guys

I cant find the pictures of a triple clutch drum drilled around the outer edge. I think Phil or Red posted pics some time back. Can someone help?

Thanks
Andre

Here's some shots of my method - I think Red's is pretty similar - Regards - Phil

I started doing this on all my racing Laverdas about 20 years ago. I have never had to touch or replace any clutch components since. I believe the full flow of oil through the clutch helps cool it - along with the core heat being able to escape more easily. I do the same job on my SF's too. I got the original idea from my endurance factory spaceframe triple that had a similar job done. I use the standard plates and SFC750 spec springs. I don't know if the Kevlar plates can cause any problems with "dust" escaping through the holes into the oil - probably not so - but as I don't know I don't use them. - Regards - Phil
