TEC coil question

Trying to narrow down what appears to be a gremlin(s) coming from the HT side. Ignition is a DMC 1.
I've obtained TEC KP03 and MP08 coils to work this out some more.
Coils have a green and a black spade connection. Is green the negative (ground) connection?
Your answers would save me dicking around with a test setup to check polarity.

The positive feed wire to each coil is orange and white, these connect to the black terminal on the Tek coil, the individual cylinder trigger wires (green, solid orange, black) connect to the green terminal on the coils.
