Jota fairing mount

Thanks, all, for the ideas. seems like closer to string and a beer than a full complement of lasers and seems pretty doable. I’ll post the result when it’s done

My original SS Duck fairing on the SF1 (as per my avatar) was held on with a threaded M8 eyelet bought from a hardware store (= Bunnings these days!). The eyelet went over the front tank mount and the threaded section went through the fairing bracket. It worked perfectly for years (including racing) until I retired it for a more glamorous weld-on system.

Got it done today. I remembered my old co-worker, Cody, who is a really good fabricator and an Italian cycle guy and he did it in his shop today.
made up the lugs on the lathe, found the centerline with a laser and eyeball, tacked, and welded it on. Piece of cake (for him) all in under 2 hours including yakking about old times.
yep, I was overthinking it.
here’s the result
thanks, all for the help!
