Name that bike

Yes that's a GT. He does state SF2 etc however he also states *2086 in the listing. A very small amount of research will tell you 2086 is way too early to be anything but a GT or similar. If your swinger was from the same bike and similarly listed then sure enough you've been played, but there was enough info to ring some warning bells. It sucks though, as I gather you'll have paid heavily for freight and waited a long time. Commiserations and I hope you find a successful outcome.

Late GT, with the narrower frame.

Early GT has an alloy bajonet-type fuel lid, fits on the early wider frame.

Yep, second type GT.
Plenty of ebay listings use SFC. Justifies silly prices.

$ 649.99 is a silly price.
I've been trying to sell a first series GT tank and side panels for less than that for a couple of years.
I'll even throw in a frame with fork, swing arm and matching numbers engine for the price of 4 tanks. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hi Paul
You got an Alpino tank you don't need, preferably one with only 3 holes in it? The Jota style type?

2nd Type, as Piet discribed. 1st Series Tank have screwed FillerCaps.

I can perhaps help you out if you are still looking. Can you confirm whether you want an early or the later style, which I think is what you mean by Jota style type.
