SF2 vs GTL frames, tanks, panels interchange?

Does anyone have SF2 and GTL near together so could assess whether the side panels and fuel tank of SF2 can be mounted on GTL frame with no modifications? Or has anyone done that swap?

My pair are 5000 miles apart and while observation and basic measurements suggest I should be able to bring SF2 tank and panels to put on the GTL during the time it gets work on its parts, I really don't want to carry them all that way and then find that they don't fit.

One more try before I box up my SF2 tank to bring along on next week's trip to UK - anyone tried switch of these tanks?

Anyone have any recommendations on tank repair welder in eastern England, centered on Cambridge? GTL tank needs one new U mount fabricated and attached at front as it sits now on one front rubber and a sheet of foam on the spine tubes, I'd prefer not to have to totally repaint as it looks pretty good.
