Cool Videos

Thanks Jeroen.
What great episodes of racing history.
What a pleasure to see all those French riders many of whom aren't with us any more.

I was just parking a Laverda in Taninges to take a break from driving through the French Alpes a couple of years ago, when a woman hurried out a nearby restaurant full of excitement stating a Laverda, a Laverda, wait for my husband..
Then a man came out and introduced himself as the pilot of the V6 during the '78 Bol d'Or
I didn't understand his name so well and thought to myself yeah right..
Today, I think it was Fougeray I meet back then
They told me they live in Paris

The man chatting with Piero Laverda in the Bol d’Or 1969 film is Dutch importer Jan Raymakers, who was involved in Laverda’s racing activities from day one.

I had heard that Fougeray lived on a boat in one of the French Mediterranean ports.

Italians Cereghini and Perugini were the only ones to ride the V6 at the Bol d’Or.
