Paul you could look at some of the utility trailers with the hinged steel mesh tailgates. They are easy to load and load bikes safely. Only challenge is if you want one for two bikes they get fairly big and heavy, so if towing a long distance you have to have the right vehicle.

but, come to think of it, the H2 got damaged at 11,000 rpm in 6th gear while I was leaning it to the max and dragging hard parts on the ground while sliding the spinning back wheel.......

my vehicle is rated to tow 7,500 pounds, and with 510 supercharged horsepower it doesn't even seem to notice my present utility trailer with two street bikes on it. My utility trailer came with a hinged mesh steel tail gate. The angle was too steep and the motorycycle frame rails/engine cases would bottom out as the front wheel came on to the trailer deck. After considerable "engineering" I threw the tail gate away and went to really heavy duty substantial ramps. Has worked fine for about 12 years, I guess I am just getting old and feeble.

uphill at 300 + kph withthe back tire still smoking under full boost, was spectacular..... Much better story than what really happened
