1973 ( again , again ) ...... And everyone`s gone triple crazy ........ Triumph ; Laverda : Kawasaki ........ Now we have Suzuki ; Motobecane ; and Munch joining in as well .........
 
Enjoying much. Only test rider I've red to describe clutch pull "surprisingly light to operate". It's the throttle pull that I've always struggled with. Tought me how to ride one (left hand-right grip) handed, whatever that's good for.

That’s Assen, no doubt, about to enter the Strubben curve.

I stand corrected ........ ! ......... The reason I mentioned it is that the sign in the background reads Sachs - Kurve .... ( I cropped the image when posting it , so it doesn`t appear in full here ) ......... I know there is a Sachs Kurve at Hockenheim , remember it from watching WSB in the `nineties , where Aaron Slight and Pierre Francesco Chilli famously collided together on the last lap in `97 , I think ........ , but this is only a sign in the background , so it could well be Assen ......

Still 1970 .... and BBC TV sports reporter Tony Gubba digs himself into a hole ............ and in doing so , drags the reputation of the BBC down into the mud ( literally ) ........

Ducati rider arrested for buzzing the crowds ; provoking the police into frantic pursuits ; disturbing the peace ; and outraging public officials ......... aren`t those the reasons you buy a bike for in the first place .... ? ......... ( Still 1970 ........ ) .......

1970 seems to go on for ever ........ The Lamborghini of Motorcycles quote was pinched by Slaters and used in subsequent advertising .......

( I think Chaddesley Corbett is a place , not a member of Slaters sales team .... ) ......
