Out and About on your Laverda. No bull,Just photos

Up early & over the moor, sunny but nigh on freezing..took wrong gloves. Went to the hamlet of Bentwichen because it sounded good, and was. This was a crossroads I stopped at- be a mug not to.Lady opened petrol station early for me, must be the bike.
I also took the wrong gloves this morning, or perhaps should have taken two pairs, as by the time I got home after lunch my winter gloves were making my hands sweat. As the sock commented, finally becoming more like springtime.

Another early start-tour of Doone country, bloody cold but the right gloves on! Not a soul about, Exmoor to myself. Low sun caught me out as I had a slide on gravel I couldn’t see, luckily walking pace.
Stopped at Lynmouth for photo- water tower was built for rich old guy , collects rain so he could have a cold shower whenever he wanted.

... cool looking 750 GT! I like the look of the early GTs with low bars. Ciao, Gert

“Located on the long High Street in Combe Martin, the building was constructed in about 1690 by local squireGeorge Ley, who, it is said, celebrated his good luck at card games when, after winning a large sum of money, he built a house to represent a house of cards[3] on a plot of land measuring 52 × 53 feet, representing the cards in a pack plus the joker. It has four floors representing the four suits, with 13 doors and fireplaces on each floor equaling the number of cards in each suit, and fifty-two stairs. Before the imposition of the window tax, the panes in all the windows added up to the total value of a pack of cards.[4]
Cracking old pub that does a good carvery- but not at 8am on a Sunday morning! North Devon 100 miler before breakfast, just twiddled with the steering damper for first time in thirty five years and it steers better! 😂 second tank full of E10 and goes fine, even my 1969 float valves seem to like it..

I've seen that place on the telly, as well as in person - 'Hotel Inspector' or similar, I think 🤔
Nice location for a decent ride, though 🏍😁
