Replace RGS side stand spring?

The first step from Keith is to attach the spring to its anchor in the frame............. well I can't do this as the motor is in the way. Hi method for winding the spring I will try if I ever get the spring on to the frame!
 
I managed this by removing the front and the upper rear engine mount and jacking the engine up at the front, pivoting it on the lower rear engine mount. I had a bare engine in the frame though, so you would need to remove exhausts etc. This gave enough room to make the job quite easy.

I’m just a stupid truck driver and sometimes when doing only one thing, forget what it was I was doing.
Prime example: Grabbed my glasses so I could read my phone on the dunny, then forgot to grab my phone 🙄
