Out and About on your Laverda.No bull,Just photos

On Tuesday it was Christmas Hills. Today it's Christmas Shopping ... no, not a place, but rather than suffer the horrendous traffic in the car, I decided to get the SFQ out of the stables for a trot. Northland Shopping Centre ... your classic shopping mall. Not a place I like to frequent but I had to do a Click & Collect. Turned out the package was about 3 times bigger than i was expecting and no way it would fit in the backpack - which already had two lightened SF outer crank webs in it ... many kg! from Ian Drysdale's workshop in Springvale.

So it's back to the Plaza in the car this eve :( Gotta say, the SFQ is fun to ride anywhere ... and it's a bloody good lane splitter! Also has a new, lighter centrestand foot to replace my lost one, and a double spring, so retraction is now solid and safe _ I was able to fit a smaller OD spring inside the larger one and secure it with a cunning and ingenious method ... which also included a cable tie!

You need a rack on that thing…… we do love a good rack!:love:
 
Hell yer, gold plated with diamonds. Lately, I really love my urban panniers, easy to take completely off as well. So handy especially for 2-day rides. There was talk a while back about someone making Executive-style panniers but with more capacity. That would be pretty cool

Now now! Reminds me of that scene in the flick about that bucks party in Vegas. They steal a cop car and Bradley Cooper's character uses the loudhailer to tell a broad in a leopard skin outfit that she has a great rack ... she smiles and says thank you. Boys behaving badly :ROFLMAO:

The disadvantage of solo seats. I've got my frame for throw-over panniers but couldn't be rat arsed fitting that unless I'm goin' somewhere far away.
 
I don’t understand why you couldn’t just balance it on the tank. They seem to be able to manage carrying almost anything on two wheels in most ‘developing nations’? 🤣
