music in the shed

Hi Jon ........ had SAHB on before ......... doing this same track along with Framed live in Norway a while back ........... but this is a good performance of it again ......... even if they are miming to the audio track ............... :) ....................

A little go with the dental floss would`nt have gone amiss there , Alexander ..........

... indeed Tony, as to here, no such thing as too much SAHB, indulging jonny a worthy expenditure on your part. Going to require some demand to see modern music at this level, it is there, ( very good young folk can be ) just gets buried by the media imposting as, "for the masses" it is for the ne'er-do-wells, and obvious to the many the few whom see through the tissue of lies, see old is not dead, well not today anyway. j.

Time for your morning exercises, stand up straight and shake what you have, or dream that shaking what you had in a girlfriend.... know i did. j

While not young, young, Daisy a treat on drums, where she gets the stamina from is laudable. Even mum was a bassist in the day, upright to relative latterly. All three are great, dad should retire off guitar being harsh, jobs done being dad, kids own the stage rightly so.... Fun.... j

And, while I think about what a great life I've led, Abraham Laboriel.
I met him, Don Grusin and Lee Ritenour at a party and they invited me to come see them play.
I'll have a search to see if I can find a recording of them together but, in the meantime,...

Yes Sock, did well, and Michael Manring, similar and different. Have an exotic bass, drives through a Roland VB-99, just picked it up again this morning, pre your postings... not in the game with these blokes, yet do what can be done with skill and exotic bass, safe travels there, cold or no, a smile. j

Not for everyone, a little bit goes a long long way...

Danes in a plane ....... for a short while , anyway ..........

Plane is a Danish registered de Havilland Dove , btw ..............

Not mentioned in my Observers Book Of Basic Military Aircraft , or William Green`s The Worlds Fighting Planes , for some reason ........ probably because of it`s civilian roots .........

Single released and video shot back in 1989 .........

........ and finally ..... just to lighten the mood a little .........

I was thinking about Chas and Dave , or Freddie And The Dreamers ........

But then I thought ....... no , lets have Patti Smith singing about a body that`s been washed up on a beach in California ...........

Actually, Big News! I caught up with John in London last September and as we talked about his solo NZ visit he hinted at a big band world tour in 2026. And now it’s official, so watch out for tickets! Forget the music, it’s sheer trouser-wetting entertainment. Mind you, Richard Holgarth does good flashy guitar stuff.

.... Teddy tops himself ........... Nick Kershaw is brought in to reflect upon the events leading up to the cuddly one`s mental breakdown ........
Dunno why, reminds me of Magazine "Under the floor boards".... a tune of merit in the day, then of course the mind wanders to Gang of Four, Sarah Lee era.... 'at home i feel like a tourist....no i dont... am the only one here.... j.

Closest I could get to the line-up I saw.

Mmmmm nice playing, though not of my usual go to and press play... then i notice.... yes it is, an 8 string Bass, could be a waterstone, thought they made/make 12 string basses to my limited knowledge. Though may well be a Hamer 8... long shot maybe....unlikely.. go Sock. Nice. j
