music in the shed

Worth it for the audience reaction .......... crying , fainting , screaming , rugby tackles ...... it`s all here ........

Brian Epstein makes an appearance at 2:52 ..........

John Lennon`s slightly bow legged on-stage stance always seemed a bit strange .......... reminds me of Tina Turner`s on-stage prancing which always looked to me as if she`d just pooped her pants .......... maybe it`s just me ..............

.... actually it probably is just me .......... looking back at various clips it seems Ms Turner isn`t quite as accident prone as I previously thought ........

So to set things straight , here she is .....

Complete with loose baggage ( Ike ) ......... and benefitting from Phil Spector`s finest ever production moment ....... ( probably ) ...........

Took my mum to see Tina, Qantas lost her stage clothes baggage, she came out in the most cut down jeans you could cut down, we had front row centre ( guest of Dennis Wong, ticket seat number was only to gain entrance ID ) Tina does in fact have legs that go on forever, my mum got to see a great deal of Tina ... true. j

Phil Spector got to produce The Ramones " End Of The Century " album , in between threatening people with guns , and then actually shooting someone ( Lana Clarkson ) dead ........

Dee Dee said Spector drove everyone mad with his insistence on taking hours over each track ....... everyone knows a typical Ramones song lasts 100 seconds tops ........ no wonder he got on their nerves ........

So here`s something earlier .......... just substitute Iran for Vietnam to bring it right up to date .........

Don`t talk to commies ! ...........

Hardly a day goes by here without playing along to "Pinhead" live, love it. Also Pet Sematary. wanna be sedated.... goes on and on really...

Been requested to play some songs for one of me gal singers and other guitarist, Jumpin Jack Flash... hang on, get in me Tardis and see how i last played it in 1977.... pretty ordinary as i tried to recall a simple song that is now difficult some near 50 ago for unknown reason?? I know its those birthdays again.... or worse, wince. j

When The Righteous Brothers were recording " You`ve Lost That Loving Feeling " Bobby Hatfield complained to Spector ..... asking what he was supposed to do whilst Bill Medley sang the main verses solo ..........

Spector replied " You go to the bank to collect the money ..... " .........

This almost didn`t work out as the song had a slow start regarding radio play .......... Radio stations had a habit of not playing tracks that were more than three minutes long .......... " You`ve Lost " clocked in at 3:45 ...........

Someone suggested they print 3:05 on the label ........ problem solved !

Is like the speedo face on a Honda CT90 reading 60mph, just because it says 60 doesn’t mean it will do it.
[/QUOTE]

....... and conversely , Ronald Reagan era USA Japanese imports where all speedos which would read up to 80 mph only ....... after all , if the national speed limit was 55 mph , then 80 is more than enough that needs to be shown , even if you`re really doing 130 ............

Also had a Rickman Zundapp R125SD back in 1973/4/5 ........ To make it road legal Rickman fitted it with a 150 mph Smiths speedo usually fitted to a Triumph/BSA 750 triple ........

The little 125 would happily buzz along all day at an indicated 120 mph , which was really a true 80 mph ..... ( which was pretty impressive in itself , although this was a 125 which put out 18 bhp , so had a bit more bite than your usual 12 bhp puddle jumper .... ) .............

Done this before but with a different video , so any old excuse ............

Mishima-san was a mystic / poet / cat lover who yearned for a return to the old order ........ allegiance to the Emperor , nationalistic values ...... all that sort of stuff ........

With a small band of followers he broke into a military base in Tokyo , held the base commander hostage in his office ....... then addressed the assembled soldiers , hoping to convert them to " the cause " ..........

Unfortunately the soldiers started laughing and jeering at him ...... generally taking the piss .......

This upset Yukio , so he returned to the office , set the commander free .......

......... and then proceeded to commit suicide ( hari-kari ) , by disembowelling himself all over the office carpet .........

A sad little tale , but there you go .........

The other well known Snivelling Shits single showcases Meg Richardson / Mortimer of Crossroads fame ............. based on Lou Reeds " Waiting For My Man ( Meg ) " ......... but I`ve already done that one as well .............

It seems appropriate considering ongoing developments, even better if you are a Metallica junky. Captivating video!

Got this on my Spotify playlist x 2….. the second one just seemed to turn up there?????

It is without vocals and sounds like bass, guitar and drums only…. maybe some kind of pre recording demo, because there’s a few mistakes and timing issues.

....of course Pat, that and more, or maybe the delusion that i did, seems real... seen a few Upright Bass ( contradiction in one of the pics ) players do all sorts of antics.... 'bout all i can do is waltz the bass around, across me knee horizontal on a better day... nice to see your out and about Pat, make the most of that ability, come a day otherwise. BTW Rate this Australian bloke as a world class slap upright player, with his brother on guitar, Firerbird Trio, Chris D’Rozario on bass j
