Hey everyone

I'd like to introduce myself to the forum, I'm a Laverda enthusiast and currently own two bikes (Formula 750) , one set up a circuit motorcyle and another one in a standard road configuration, (they are recently bought so i need to do the registration)

I'm looking forward to learn more about the brand, share experiences and connecting with others who appreciate these machines :D

Welcome to the forum Gianni! Are your bikes from the Belgian Team Enzo? They did a lot with the Laverda 750 Formula back in the day. IIRC there was even a cup series. It always ran as part of the support program for the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, which I attended as a spectator for several decades.

Hey Jo I’m not entirely sure if the bikes are from that team. I bought them from a collector in France who is also a racer in the French championship on circuit. On my windshield it says “Laverda Club de FR,” so there might be some connection to the French Laverda community rather than the Belgian Team Enzo, im not sure. I don't have much of a history :p

I hope your Formulas have been well maintained. The Zane Laverdas have some weak spots / design shortfalls (lots of knowledge here on the forum, pls use the search function), so it's worth knowing which ones have already been adressed.

Would those have belonged to Patrick P. ?
Paul
Hey Paul,

I purchased the bikes recently from Sebastien L. in France, there wasn't much history and maintenance history available of the bike.
I've recently found out that the bikes belonged to Philippe B, so i'm really happy to have that background information.
Both engines had the crank fixed at Van Dijk + the engine has been rebuilded from and every seal has been replaced while rebuilding the engine.

I think I know them.
Our paths used to cross on race tracks a long time ago.
