Brake Pads SF2

Was more I needed something that works cold or maybe they all just need a bit of pressure?? … or the ones I have are not much chop. I’m also splitting riding on an RT1200 touring which has ripper one finger brakes
P08s and the standard 15mm master cylinder need pressure.
As such, they'll never be modern brakes.
Don't compare.

They do work cold.

Overhauling the entire hydraulic system offers more benefits than fresh pads alone.

The P08 in conjuntion with the PS15 are infamous for their wood-like feel. Fresh rubber restores at least some modulation capability. A dab of grease on the pivot and pressure point of the lever can work wonders as well...

For better overall performance, fit a PS14 M/C.

A big yes to the above- my SF2w cast iron rotors w/ original Brembo m/c and lines w splitter gave wooden at best brake feel, and I had a few close calls. I rebuilt the calipers and installed an upgraded Brembo m/c with direct lines, and the brakes now actually work. The rotors are Malcolm Cox 7mm wide so my brake pad choice is limited to thinner EBC FAO19 organic pads. I would like to install thinner full floater Brembos but they’re too $$ for me.
